James was exposed to a variety of musical genres throughout his childhood and discovered a passion for film and score in his early teens, when his music caught the attention of Extreme Music/Bleeding Fingers CEO Russell Emanuel, and soon after, Hans Zimmer. This saw his music used by the likes of Netflix, BBC, National Geographic and FX Networks among others, and at 19 James recorded his first feature film at Abbey Road Studios, London. Recent work includes the Cannes shortlisted 'Chasing the Wind', and Amazon Prime's 'Grand Prix Driver’. While he is based in Bristol, UK, James is currently working in Los Angeles.
